The food was amazing! Super tasty and the service was friendly. Mexican cuisine family restaurant, reasonably priced and with very well made dishes. We went several times during our stay in Troncones.

We did the Troncones Cooking School with Mine and it was fantastic! We learned her recipe for chicken mole and she is so knowledgeable (plus her English is great, although she will deny it ). Of course eating the finished product was the the best part and it was easily the best chicken mole we've had! Highly recommend any of their classes!

You couldn’t possibly want more from a restaurant - good food very reasonably priced and made to order. Rufi’s has been around 20 years in Troncones run by the same family. Full menu plus daily specials.

Amazing food and a lovely family! They have the best mole in Mexico (Wednesday night only). Chile rellenos, pozole, enchiladas, potato rellenos are also excellent. The price is very reasonable. If the key lime pie isn't sold out (it often is), try to save room for that!

Family run restaurant with great local food at excellent price. Sopes de pollo are delicious. We ate dinner here every night of our stay.

Amazing simple food. Great cooking school too. Lovely people, but on a busy night (Wednesdays for mole) they get a bit overwhelmed. Great prices. Try the mole.

Go here. We frequent often. No wrong choice. Good prices great service and food is outstanding. Their green sauce they give is delicious - we asked for more to take home to put on things we cooked.
